YouTube Upload Automation Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 3, 2026
This privacy policy applies to the private YouTube upload automation operated through Southern Mana. The application is used by its owner to upload video files to an authorized YouTube channel through an automated workflow.
Google API Access
The application requests access to the Google OAuth scope:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload
This permission is used only to upload videos to the authorized YouTube account.
Information Accessed
The application may process video files, video titles, descriptions, upload status, and YouTube video identifiers necessary to complete and track uploads.
How Information Is Used
Information is used solely to operate the private video upload workflow, including uploading videos and recording the resulting YouTube video identifier or URL.
Data Sharing
Google user data is not sold, rented, or used for advertising. Data is not shared with third parties except service providers required to operate the automation, such as Google/YouTube and the automation platform used to execute the workflow.
Data Storage
The application does not intentionally store Google account credentials in public repositories or public web pages. OAuth credentials and tokens are maintained by the connected automation platform and Google according to their security controls.
Data Retention and Deletion
Operational metadata may be retained as needed to maintain the upload workflow and prevent duplicate uploads. Access can be revoked at any time through the user’s Google Account permissions.
Security
Reasonable safeguards are used to protect credentials and workflow data. Client secrets, access tokens, refresh tokens, and other authentication credentials are not published on this website.
